The ENGCOMP Advantage
As a leading structural, mechanical, electrical and cost-engineering consulting firm, we have created a unique and dynamic environment
where our people want to work and thrive, while contributing an
important role to the overall success of each project we undertake.
With over 60 years of combined project experience,
our team of professional engineers and technologists have had
a great deal of exposure, practice, and success in a variety of
industries, some of which include: mining (potash, gold, uranium,
nickel, limestone, copper-zinc, and platinum-palladium), chemical
processing, pulp & paper, oil & gas, food processing,
water treatment plants, manufacturing, and a wide variety of commercial
and residential construction projects.
At ENGCOMP, our team has the skill set and insight
to (1) transfer knowledge gained in one industry to another; (2)
cater various software programs to meet the individual needs of
our clients and projects; and to (3) envision a project and foresee
many issues that may arise on the construction site during the
project planning or feasibility study stage. As a result, we are
able to:
- Make allowances for issues within a project
design to maximize schedule efficiency.
- Evaluate each project's construction
requirements, often lowering the project's total costs
of construction.
- Mitigate risk by considering logistical and
technical challenges that could be presented during the project.
- Present budgeting costs (based on leading
industry standards and information available) that are realistic
and in-line with project scope and timelines.
- Make effective usage of project resources,
which sometimes results in lower operating costs.
- Provide extensive upfront planning, which
makes for easier project execution.
- Deliver high-quality drawings on schedule
and on budget.
Interacting closely with each other and with
our clients, our personnel have been able to establish and maintain
long-term relationships with many of our clients, some of which
include: Cameco, PCS Potash, Maple Leaf Foods, Akzo Nobel Chemicals,
Claude Resources Inc., Areva Resources Canada Inc., BHP Billiton,
IWL Steel Fabricators, and Agrium.
