Cost Estimating
Engcomp provides capital cost estimates for a variety of purposes, ranging from order of magnitude (scoping) studies to detailed budget estimates. Cost estimating is the cornerstone of cost engineering and may be used for several purposes throughout all phases of a project, including:
- Determining the economic feasibility of a project;
- Evaluating project alternatives;

Standards and Practices
Engcomp’s estimating practices are based on the guidelines, standards and recommended practices as defined by the Association for the Advancement of Cost Engineering (AACEI). We provide quality deliverables for our clients, including custom summary and detailed estimate reports based on client defined work or cost breakdown structures, and a basis of estimate report.
